As an expert Unity Developer, I leverage a vast array of components to navigate the many aspects of Unity to sculpt game objects from design specifications. I create highly customized C# scripts to control player and AI physics, sound, cameras, animations, optimization, lighting, AI pathing, and scene triggers.

UI/UX Design: Adept at creating immersive, intuitive user interfaces and optimizing the player experience through custom-scripted events and unique designs for mobile touchscreen controls.

ProtoTypes & 3D Modeling: Creation of original mid poly 3D models with custom scripted C# functionality and hand crafted animations. Sketch-Based modeling using Umodeler, Armature (bones) & Animations in Blender, UV Layer Mapping, Poly Reduction, Vehicle, Robot, and Plant Armature Animations.

C# Scripting Examples: Physics Manipulations, UI Menus & Touch Screen Buttons, Advanced Camera System, Scene Triggers, Dictionaries, FMOD Sound Scripts, highly versatile centralized Spaceship Character Controller script to replace and advance many other single-utility scripts.

Cameras, Lights & Baking: Founded on Cinemachine, I’ve coded a Camera System with 6 auto-shifting modes that upscales Idle-Mode into a complete Cinema Experience. Placing lights effectively and baking lightmaps with proper probe placement are keys to yielding high performance and casting our game objects in the best light.

Workflow Documentation: I maintain 500+ pages of notes on acquired Unity knowledge, most notably my highly customized workflows for complex processes. Such as manually Baking multiple skinned meshes & materials together for incredible performance gains, importing/exporting from Blender to Unity, creating new material textures & terrain maps (Normals, Height Maps, Baked Lightmaps) from nature photography, 2D Imaging Software, and AI.

Storywriting: I served for a year as the volunteer Marketing Director for The AlterVerse game, and published several science fiction lore stories and marketing pieces that effectively promoted in-game purchase items to raise funds for the 8-10 person core developer team.
